Information

Indoor CO2-Levels are a good approximation of the amount of rebreathed air in an enclosed space. The higher the CO2-Levels the higher the amount of air which has been in another persons Lung shortly before, which means that the risk of an infection with an disease which is transmitted via aerosols, like Covid-19, Influenza or Measles, also increases. However if the air is filtrated using for example HEPA-Filters or sanitized using Far-UVC then at identical CO2-Levels and all things equal the risk is lower.
